CAMP Exhibition Space
CAMP, Contemporary Art Meeting Point. 200 m2 within the 1890 historical building of Kotzia Square, upon which the City Hall is located. The gallery space hosts experimental exhibitions and project proposals by artists, curators, art groups and offspaces from Greece and abroad.
ATOPOS Contemporary Visual Culture
ATOPOS (m e a n i n g literally in ancient Greek out of the ordinary, eccentric, unregistered) is an Athens-based, non - profit cultural organisation which aims to bring modern technologies together with fashion, design and contemporary art.
Bernier-Eliades
The BERNIER/ELIADES GALLERY was founded in 1977 in Athens and has since continued working dynamically in the field of contemporary art in Greece.
Benaki Museum (Pireos Street Annexe)
The new Benaki Museum building is located at 138 Pireos Street, one of the central development axes of Athens.
The existing building, which is organised around a central courtyard, is already being refurbished, thanks to co-funding by the Ministry of Culture and the European Union.
The new building covers a total area of 8,200 m2 with underground areas of 2,800 m2 and an internal courtyard of 850 m2. The exhibition halls span 3,000 m2. There is an amphitheatre capable of seating 300, as well as areas to house the Museum services.
B&M Theocharakis Foundation for the Fine Arts and Music
In 2005 the Theocharakis Foundation bought and restored one of the last standing old buildings of the centre of Athens. The building was renovated and its interior was reformed so that it could function as an exhibition area and as a concert hall. The building has 6 floors. On the lower ground level there is an Auditorium with the capacity of 175 seats. On the ground floor there is the reception area and an art shop. A café can be found on the first floor while the second third and fourth floor function as exhibition areas. On the fifth floor the permanent collection of the Modern Greek painter Spyros Papaloukas is housed.
Frissiras Museum
In the Frissiras museum the visitor can admire paintings of contemporary artists both Greek and foreigners. The museum organizes different exhibitions displaying different works of art that are part of its extended collection. Therefore there is not a permanent exhibition.

Public Gallery of Athens
The gallery has been moved in a new location at the area of Metaxourgio. The gallery is housed in an old neo-classical building of the 19th century which was donated to the municipality of Athens and has been thoroughly restored. The visitor can finally enjoy the extended collection of the paintings of famous Greek painters of the 19th and mostly the 20th century in an open well lighted space.
Museum of Greek Children’s Art
The museum is situated in a renovated neoclassical building in the old town of Athens, Plaka. It has no permanent collection on display. It usually organizes exhibitions of paintings and three dimensions art made by children up to fourteen years old.
