A great opportunity to have a tour to better know the city, is given through the free guided tours to archaeological sites and neighbourhoods of Athens. This favourite habit of the Athenians always had too many participations, and now starts again for the new year, from January to March.
The exhibition "THINGS | art and the everyday life" presents everyday objects which, through the artists’ interventions, transform into original pieces of art without losing their functional value. Various paintings complement the constructions and the objects creating an overall lively and colorful composition, revealing the smart parallelisms and the humorous cues employed by contemporary artists.
The exhibition is organized on the occasion of the quatercentenary of Domenikos Theotokopoulos’ death, focused on the two panels of the painter’s Italian period which are kept in Heraklion.
Bernier/Eliades Gallery is pleased to present the first solo exhibition in Greece of the German artist Christiane Löhr. The exhibition will feature a selection of small sculptures, as well as works on paper of different size - big formats of oil pastel and small pencil drawings.
